BDIX launch its 2nd Internet Exchange for Chattogram region

BDIX, the first and the largest Internet Exchange operator in Bangladesh is pleased to announce the launching of its 2nd Internet Exchange in Chattogram City for the ISPs of Chattogram region. BDIX gradually intends to expand its activities all over Bangladesh.

As per the directive of NIX license issued by BTRC and to provide the quick access to internet facilities for the Internet users of the remotest corner of the country, BDIX is now in a process of expanding its NIX facilities to other areas of the country.

Considering the importance of Chattogram as the commercial capital of the country, BDIX selects Chattogram for its 2nd NIX operation for the ISPs and content providers of that region.

Setting up of 2nd NIX for the Chattogram area would improve the performance of the Internet and will provide a better peering experience for its members as a number of ISP’s and content providers are providing Internet service from that area.
