The 39th event of the South Asian Network Operators Group (SANOG39) and 16th event of the Bangladesh Network Operators Group (bdNOG16) took place in Dhaka, Bangladesh from May 9th to May 13th, 2023. The event is a learning platform for diverse range of participants, including network engineers, system administrators, cybersecurity professionals, policy-makers, and researchers and a good opportunity to learn from experts, network with peers, and exchange ideas on a range of topics, including network security, IPv6 deployment, DNS, routing, and other topics.
SANOG39 and bdNOG16 featured a range of sessions, including workshops, tutorials, panel discussions, and keynote presentations for the participants and was the first International on-site in-person event in Bangladesh after the COVID era for the network professionals.
BDIX is one of the Silver Sponsors of the event and three participants (Selim Mahmud Arko, Md. Anamul Houqe and Md. Amran Ali Sarkar) from the BDIX NOC team participated in different technical training sessions of the event. Certificates were distributed among the participants after the successful completion of the training sessions.
